I tried to turn off Onedrive, looked at Microsoft Support, finally uninstalled it to get it to stop downloading everything. I quickly got notices from Microsoft my OneDrive was full, I needed to buy more storage. I have much more memory requirements than that with my music (I write songs) and family photos/videos, over 40g. By default you get 5g of storage, more than that and you pay a fee. They were connected by Microsoft's Onedrive, their online storage. When I add or delete a file, like a photo or document it adds deletes them on BOTH computers. ![]() It's crazy but they are linked together in my Microsoft account. My old laptop is still running so I have two devices on my Microsoft account. I'm not very computer smart, there may have been another way to get these programs to work, I don't know. Turning "S" off I was able to install the programs. I had to go to my Microsoft account and turn off the "S" setting which is meant to keep viruses off my laptop. Microsoft assumed these programs may not be safe. When I downloaded Reolink app, it wouldn't install. Windows 11 would not run my photo shop, printer app, Sony music recording software. It would not let me run some of my apps I had on my old computer I transferred from a hard drive. I bought a new laptop three weeks ago, Windows 11, 21H2. ![]()
